Microdermabrasion
Sometimes referred to
as ‘skin polishing’,
Microdermabrasion is used for treating and correcting
skin imperfections by improving the quality of skin.
The microdermabrasion process involves exfoliating
and vacuuming the waste and dead cells from the skin
so it’s left looking and feeling totally refreshed.
Microdermabrasion
helps to produce collagen, elastin, improve the skin’s
micro-circulation and exfoliation.
Microdermabrasion is recommended for:
- facial lines
- open pores
- thickened skin pitted scars
- pigmentation
- scarring
- sun damaged skin
- dull skin
- hypertrophic scarring
- acne
To enhance the efficacy, a glycolic cream
is applied prior to the microdermabrasion process and
a cooling
facial gel after.
A series of microdermabrasion treatments
are usually recommended initially and once the desired
results
have been evidenced, regular follow up treatments
are advised to keep the skin in top condition.
